Hydrophilic aluminium foil is the hydrophilic treatment on aluminum foil, coating a hydrophilic layer in it's surface layer through a special process, the condensate in the hydrophilic aluminum foil will quickly spread, and will not condense into water droplets. In this way, heat exchange area will be increased as well as the speed of cooling heating rate, and also effectively avoid the condensation of water caused by air flow noise.
Hydrophilic aluminum foil is the main raw material of home air conditioning heat exchanger and has a great impact on the efficiency of air conditioner. If using hydrophilic aluminum foil as heat exchanger raw material, the cooling efficiency can be improved by 5%, and also with function of anti-corrosion and anti-mold, free from odor, will not cause the accumulation of water droplets to affect the heat transfer.
Hydrophilic coated aluminum foil is the replacement of mill finish aluminium foil for air conditioner, used for different types of air conditioner heat exchanger heat sink, this hydrophilic aluminum foil is with coating a layer of thickness of 1 ~ 2um that is extremly strong anti-corrosion ability and excellent hydrophilic film.
Hydrophilic aluminum foil hydrophilic coating is generally divided into organic hydrophilic coating and inorganic hydrophilic coating. Inorganic hydrophilic coating of the overall performance to be slightly better, but the price is more expensive. Therefore, the general use of air-conditioning heat exchanger hydrophilic coating are organic hydrophilic coating, the common organic hydrophilic coating color is blue and gold.

The effect of hydrophilicity
Aluminum foil surface with hydrophilic layer has a strong affinity for water, condensate on the fins spread quickly, not easy to form a "water bridge", so the ventilation effect of air conditioning operation works well. A measure of hydrophilicity is called a hydrophilic angle. Please find the comparison between ordinary aluminum foil and hydrophilic aluminum foil in the following table.

Characteristic of hydrophilic aluminium foil

Advantages comparing to Bare aluminium fin stock:
- Can increase the anti-corrosion, anti-mold, no smell of the function;
- The heat sink surface of the accumulation of condensate evenly distributed on the surface, not because of the formation of water droplets caused by heat accumulation between the block, affecting the heat exchange conditions, thereby improving the heat exchange rate of 5%;
- Because the water no beads, the corresponding also reduced the noise caused by vibration;
- To prevent air conditioning powder into the room to adversely affect the human body, in line with environmental requirements
